Are you still shipping during the COVID-19 pandemic?

Yes, we are. We are fortunate to share that Your Cat Backpack by Travel Cat is up and running. We are continuing to help people live the #travelcatlife by shipping our products around the world. Please note, shipping and delivery times will take longer on most orders due to the increase in demand of the USPS and other carriers. Read our full COVID-19 update here.

Help! I can’t decide what style to get. What do you recommend?

Our best-seller id "The Fat Cat" --- so we always recommend that one! It's got pockets on both side, a top opening so your cat can hang out, and holds over 20 lbs of cat!

"The Fat Cat" — by far! You won't find a cat backpack anywhere else that holds more weight than up to 25 lbs! 

What is your shipping time?

Orders usually ship from our Houston warehouse within 48 hours, which is open Monday - Friday. Because of COVID-19, it may take up to 5 business days.

U.S. orders usually arrive in 3-5 business days depending on your location. Because of COVID-19 it may take up to 8-10 business days.

International orders usually arrive in 7-20 business days depending on your location.* Due to COVID-19 it may take up to 30 days.

Customs can hold up orders in certain countries and delay arrival times, which is unfortunately out of our control.

Do we do rush shipping?

Due to COVID-19 and postal delays, we no longer offer rush shipping.

For Apparel

Apparel is fulfilled and sent out in 2-7 business days and take 3-5 days to ship for the US, and 10-15 days for international orders. Apparel cannot be rush ordered, but if it's placed in an order with other items, those other items can be rushed. Apparel will come in different packages than other items.

You'll receive another email when the order's been sent out, along with the tracking number. Orders cannot be modified or canceled once made.  

Do you have gift cards?

What happens if my cat has to go to the bathroom while they are in the backpack?

We recommend you bring a litter box or let your cat take breaks so they don't have an accident in the backpack! If you want to avoid a mess, you can line the bottom with pet pee pads. If an accident happens, we recommend soaking it up ASAP and using a urine cleaner that's fabric safe. You can try to machine wash the mat, but we're not liable for any damage and unfortunately cannot provide or sell replacements. If the mat is thoroughly soaked, you might want to toss it and replace it with your cats favorite blanket or anything comfy. 

How do I clean the backpacks?

Spot clean and vacuum them.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free on orders $89.00 USD and over for folks in the United States. Yes, free!  On any order of any size.

If your order is under $89.00 USD, the fee for U.S. shipping is $8.95 USD.

There is a $24.95 USD fee for shipping to Canada and a $34.95 USD fee for shipping to all other countries.

Do you do returns or refunds?

No. All sales are final. We're unable to cancel orders once they are placed.

In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged, contact us within 10 days of receipt of package with photo and video evidence and we will send the necessary replacements items.

I'm an International customer (outside USA.) Do I have to pay customs, VAT, and taxes?

Items shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import duties, VAT, taxes and/or charges which are not included in the total cost of your order, and they won't be covered or reimbursed by us under any circumstances. 

Unfortunately, we have no control over customs/VAT charges and can't predict what they will be.

We're not responsible for any shipping deliveries that may be affected by customs. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to placing your order. If you refuse an order because of customs / VAT charges, we'll be unable to refund you.
